Now Helene Ripa aimed to take a ticket to the Paralympics, where there were hopes for a medal.

But today's eighth place during the Olympic qualifiers in Hungary was not enough all the way.

A top-four placement was required to pinch a ticket to the Paralympics.

In 2019, she took World Cup gold in the 200 meters at the World Canoe Championships in Portugal.

During the Paralympics in Rio 2016, she finished fifth.

Prior to that, Helene Ripa had previously won Olympic gold and Olympic silver in cross-country skiing from Sochi in 2014.
