Last night in his home debut for Rosenborg, Stefano Vecchia became the goal scorer in the 5-0 crush against Viking.

Despite a strong opening for the Norwegian big club, which recruited him after the successful season last year in Sirius, he is still trying to adapt to Norwegian football.

- It has been a tempo shock, it is a lot back and forth.

The ball goes more between the teams and it is more direct play, says Stefano Vecchia to VG.

Rosenborg's coach Åge Hareide, with his coaching staff in both Helsingborg and Malmö, believes that the pace is slower in Sweden.

Molins is also a goal scorer

- They are not used to the change between fast attacks, fast movements and "rush football" in Sweden.

There you keep the ball longer, says Hareide.

In addition to Vecchia, three other Swedes are new to Rosenborg this season.

Former Häckenbacken Adam Andersson, assist in the home debut, former Malmö striker Guillermo Molins, goal scorer in the home debut, and former zookeeper Jonathan Augustinsson who has not been available in either of the two initial Eliteserien rounds.
