Neymar suspended by a disciplinary decision ... and the player "mocks"

The Disciplinary Committee of the French Football Association announced Friday that Brazilian international striker Neymar has been suspended for a match, which will prevent him from participating with his Paris Saint-Germain team in the French Cup final against Monaco next Wednesday.

Neymar received a warning moments after he came on as a substitute in the semi-final round against Montpellier on Wednesday, in which the capital club excelled in penalties (5-6) after the end of the regular time in a 2-2 draw, which led to that penalty due to his suspension of two matches and the other suspended after his expulsion against Night in the league last month, and the last one was conditional on not receiving a new yellow card for a certain period.

This decision will go into effect on Monday, May 17, two days before the final match.

Neymar ridiculed this decision through his account on Instagram, saying, "I want to understand the logic of the person who manages matters of cards in France. This person deserves applause. What is this mess?"

Paris Saint-Germain can still resume the suspension, thus allowing its player to play in the final at the "Stade de France" behind closed doors.

Neymar, who renewed his contract with Saint-Germain last week until 2025, scored the only goal in last year's final against Saint-Etienne.
