A total of 103 competing ladies will compete in this season's Ski Classics.

Among the competitors are names like Britta Johansson Norgren, Lina Korsgren, Hanna Falk and Marit Björgen.

- On the women's side, there will be more people riding, so the competition will be tougher and tougher, says SVT's expert Anders Blomquist.

Lina Korsgren became champion last season and is still the favorite.

- Lina Korsgren had a fantastic season last year.

There is nothing to suggest that she should not be able to follow up her training plan from last year.

It can be assumed that she will be fine if she stays injury-free, says Blomquist.

"She has the conditions"

One who takes the step into Ski Classics is the sprinter Hanna Falk, who has previously struggled with back problems.

- Hanna Falk is super exciting.

For her, it is important that the back holds.

If her back works, she will ride well.

Then it is a little different for her that it is such a long race and a lot of shooting.

It will also be a challenge for her to adapt her training and competition based on that, says Anders Blomquist.

- It has been shown that good sprinters have often been able to perform well in the long races, there is something that correlates there.

Many races are decided in sprint battles and they are good at it.

So that speaks for her.

She has the conditions, but she must also show it, says Blomquist.
