The veteran returned home to Sweden and Luleå for the past season after playing in Switzerland since 2014.

In total, there were 42 points (14 + 28) in 50 regular season matches - the best in Luleå and a total of nine in the SHL's scoring points - and six points (0 + 6) in seven playoff games this season.

But now Klasen has asked to leave the club.
