SC Paderborn won a goal festival in the second division and moved up to eighth place.

On Sunday, coach Steffen Baumgart's team won 8: 3 (4: 2) at FC Erzgebirge Aue.

In a wild game, especially in the first half, the hosts took the lead thanks to two quick hits from Dimitri Nazarov (1st / 4th).

But goals from Dennis Srbeny (10th), Sven Michel (31st), Chris Führich (42nd / penalty) and Aues goalkeeper Martin Männel with an own goal (45th + 1) turned the tide in favor of Westphalia.

Mannel had directed a header from captain Sebastian Schonlau to the post, but then maneuvered the rebound with his leg into his own goal.

Paderborn cheered and was also unimpressed by the third Nazarov goal (56th / foul penalty) after the break.

The guests increased the result with hits from Michel (59th), Srbeny (73rd), Christopher Antwi-Adjei (78th) and Chadrac Akolo (82nd).

One more thing is still possible: Paderborn often had reason to cheer in Aue

After losing two home games recently, the Auer who had already been rescued wanted to win at home again.

Accordingly, they put a lot of pressure on at the beginning and thus surprised Paderborn.

But instead of playing further forward, the Erzgebirge withdrew and provided support with individual mistakes in front of the goals conceded.

When Nazarov was able to shorten with his third goal after the break, hope flared up again at FC Erzgebirge.

But the guests played ripped off and used almost every chance to score their own goal that afternoon, while Aue did not act defensively in the second division.
