[Explanation] Recently, the Chinese Football Association issued a notice on soliciting opinions and suggestions on the "Chinese Youth Football League and Chinese Football Association National Youth Football League Men's Junior Middle School Age Group U13 and U15 Competition Preliminary Plan" for 47 member associations and Super League B professional clubs.

On May 9, Gao Hongbo, the vice chairman of the Chinese Football Association, said in an interview that the launch of the China Youth Football League is to hope that outstanding reserve athletes will have a complete compulsory education, not to be separated from the family, school, and society, and to adhere to cultural education. Pay equal attention to professional training.

We have also found some phenomena in our research. At the elementary school level, the development of (football) across the country is very prosperous. By the age group of the first to the third grade, the number of participating in football has dropped sharply. One is the worries of parents because of learning. Pressure, worry about the future development of my child.

So the Chinese Football Association has always insisted on advocating "the integration of sports and education". Can we keep these children from learning, but at the same time, they have high-level training, training and competition.

[Commentary] Gao Hongbo introduced that the Chinese Youth Football League is divided into two groups: U13 (Junior One) and U15 (Junior Two, Junior Three). Competitions are held in accordance with the school year. The competitions are cross-year-old and do not affect the academic and examinations of young players.

The competition system is fully open, club echelon, social youth training institutions, sports schools and school teams can all participate, and there are no barriers to participation between the subjects.

For this competition system, first of all we will open it up, including schools, clubs, and social institutions (etc.). We will open all four aspects.

In addition, if it is to develop at a higher level, in some elite players' events, we will count the brand events of some local events, so that these high-level teams can participate in (local brand events) to supplement those events. To improve.

[Explanation] Gao Hongbo also used the "Beijing First Community Cup Eight-a-side Football Tournament" he participated in that day to encourage local member associations to establish a junior high school league.

Gao Hongbo said that only when there are more young people participating in football, more elite players will emerge.

I still hope that local member associations will popularize and improve (do a good job) at the local level, and be able to add more competitions, because these students are in the city, in the community, and let them fight the competition, just like today in Beijing. He organized the "Community Cup" from the grassroots level to fight, so this is also the development (direction) of our Chinese Football Association in the youth league, we must be based on the locality.

[Explanation] Gao Hongbo also emphasized that youth competitions should downplay the results and downplay the doctrine of championship.

The Chinese Football Association also hopes to take advantage of the country's "integration of sports and education" to support the development of campus football, consolidate the foundation of youth football, and improve the level of Chinese football.
