To get rid of the shadow of Messi at Barça, Neymar had joined PSG of the Qatari era, which made him the most expensive player on the planet. Since his arrival, the club of the capital has been waiting to win the Champions League, the stated goal of Paris which relies on the former player of Santos, with dazzles at the height of his talent and the budget devoted to him by the Parisian club.

In 2019-2020, PSG reached

the C1 final against Bayern Munich.

It is considered to be his best exercise with Paris, even though the French Championship had ended prematurely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

He won the four national trophies with PSG, before the “Final 8” of C1.

In Lisbon, freed from his physical worries and with a big smile on his face, he allows the club to reach the first final in its history against Bayern Munich.

This season, Mauricio Pochettino's men were knocked out by Manchester City in the semi-finals.

Superstar with genius dribbling

Neymar has often hit the headlines to the point of wanting to leave the club. His quirks and a form of nonchalance sometimes exasperated the fans of the club. His two injuries to the right foot, in the winters of 2018 and 2019, stuck him the label of fragile superstar, absent when PSG needed it most. In 2019, his outings at the Rio carnival, while he is recovering, made him look like a enfant terrible. Superstar with brilliant dribbles, Neymar is still waiting to put the football planet at his feet, like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

At 29, the Brazilian with many lives has experienced a meteoric rise. Coming from futsal, he became professional at 17 and father at 19. At 21, he won the Confederations Cup with the Seleçao, for his first international competition. His transfer in stride to FC Barcelona propels him even higher, at the top of Europe, with a coronation in the Champions League in 2015.

The one who had aroused the mockery of his compatriots at the 2018 World Cup for his repeated rolls now expects to raise the "Cup with big ears" with PSG.

No one forgets that the Qataris are brought in mainly for this.

"

The center of gravity of our ambitious project to grow PSG lies in the heart, talent and total involvement of our players,

" said Parisian President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, quoted in the club's press release. formalizing the extension of the Brazilian.

Without this C1 so desired, both parties keep the impression of not having gone to the end of their story.
