Bayern Munich are celebrating the Bundesliga title by sweeping Gladbach with half a dozen goals

Bayern Munich celebrated winning the German Football League title by sweeping its guest Borussia Monchengladbach 6-0 today, Saturday, in the 32nd round.

A few hours ago, Bayern officially won the Bundesliga title for the ninth time in a row in a new record, taking advantage of Borussia Dortmund's victory at home to Leipzig 3/2.

The match saw the Polish star, returning from injury, Robert Lewandowski scored three goals (hat-trick).

Lewandowski raised his goal tally to 39 this season, to become one goal away from the achievement equation of legend Gerd Muller, who holds the record for the number of goals scored during one season of the Bundesliga by scoring 40 goals in the 1971/1972 season.

Lewandowski opened the scoring in the second minute, then Thomas Mueller scored the second goal in the 23rd minute, and Lewandowski added his second and third goal for Bayern in the 34th minute.

Kingsley Coman scored the fourth goal for the Bavarian team in the 44th minute, then Lewandowski won the hat-trick in the 66th minute, scoring his third and fifth goal for Bayern from a penalty kick, before Leroy Sane concluded the goals festival in the 86th minute.

Bayern Munich ended the match with 10 men to send off Nianzo Cuase in the 75th minute.
