Smouha Club Chairman Mohamed Farag Amer called on the Egyptian Football Association to restart his team’s match with Zamalek, and to suspend referee Mohamed Al Hanafi, who did not score a penalty kick in favor of Smouha in the match that brought the two teams together, Thursday, in the 20th round, which ended Zamalekawiya 2-1.

Amer said on his Facebook account: “Smouha is calling for a replay of the match that was held yesterday between us and Zamalek in the Premier League, and I demand the suspension of referee Mohamed Al-Hanafi for ignoring the calculation of a correct penalty kick against Zamalek at the start of the match .. Not the first time that the referee, Mohamed, insisted. Al-Hanafi not counting a correct penalty kick for Smouha Club despite the (mouse) warning to him. "

The Smouha player had been handicapped inside the Zamalek penalty area from the player Tariq Hamed, but the Hanafi referee did not count it despite the fact that he returned to the situation via video technology, which angered the players and members of Smouha Club management, who believe that they have been subjected to an injustice that must repeat the match and punish the referee.

For his part, the arbitration expert on the "On Sport" channel, Ahmed Al-Shennawi, confirmed that the (mouse) referees were right to summon the Hanafi referee for a violation, but the referee did not count a penalty kick for Smouha.

It is noteworthy that the Egyptian whistle is facing violent attack and harsh criticism from various clubs in Egypt, most notably Zamalek and Al-Ahly, as a result of the influential mistakes committed by the referees despite the presence of the video.
