There is a possibility that the venue for the UEFA Champions League final against England teams will change from Turkey to England.

This is due to the British government's ban on travel to Turkey following the spread of Corona 19.

The Associated Press reported that "the British government has included Turkey in the list of'red countries' banning all travel for non-essential purposes," and "warning supporters not to go on expeditions to Turkey."

The 2020-2021 UEFA Champions League final will be held at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey on the 30th, with England's Premier League club Manchester City facing Chelsea.

UEFA wants to play the finals with 10,000 spectators, including supporters from both teams.

However, the British government's ban on travel to Turkey left him in a difficult situation.

According to the UK's COVID-19 quarantine guidelines, entry from travel alert red countries is obligatory for 10 days to be quarantined at your own hotel.

The same is true of the players, and the national players of each country belonging to Manchester City and Chelsea are inevitable in preparation for the European Football Championship, which will open on June 12th.

Because of this, the British government wants to play the finals in their country.

British Transport Minister Grant Shacks said, "The England Football Association is in discussions with UEFA on how to play the finals in England. We are ready, but in the end the decision is up to UEFA."Said.
