Florian Thauvin will leave OM at the end of the season.

The French international will join the Mexican league and the Monterrey Tigers club.

The 28-year-old player has been playing in Marseille since 2013. At the Tigres, he will join another former Marseille player: André-Pierre Gignac.

Marseille striker Florian Thauvin, world champion in 2018 with the France team, will join the Monterrey Tigers next season, the Mexican club announced on its Twitter account on Friday.

Thauvin, 28, came to the end of his contract with OM at the end of the season and could therefore join the club of his choice, without transfer compensation.

He joined OM in 2013 and played there since, apart from six months at Newcastle during the 2015-2016 season.
