The Japan Rugby Union has announced that it will hold two semi-finals of the rugby top league and playoff tournaments in Osaka on the 15th and 16th of this month without spectators.

With the extension of the state of emergency, the decision was made in response to a request from Osaka Prefecture.

In the top league of rugby, we are planning to hold two semi-finals of the playoff tournament that doubles as the Japan Championship on the 15th and 16th of this month at Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka.



The Japan Rugby Union announced on the 7th that this match will be held without spectators.

With the extension of the state of emergency, the decision was made in response to the request from the venue, Osaka Prefecture, to hold a large-scale event without spectators.



On the other hand, the final scheduled at the Chichibu Memorial Rugby Stadium in Minato-ku, Tokyo on the 23rd of this month will be decided again.
