Five athletes will compete in five events, the highest ever in Korea diving at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.



On the 5th, the diving team secured additional tickets to Tokyo for his personal event at the 2021 Diving World Cup and final qualifier for the Tokyo Olympics held at the Tokyo Aquatics Center on the 5th.



In the men's 3-meter springboard qualifier, Kim Young-nam scored 399.75 points in a total of 6 rounds, ranking 15th out of all 54 people, and earning the Olympic qualifications given to the top 18 players as well as advance to the semi-finals.



U Haram, who secured the right to qualify early at the 2019 Gwangju World Swimming Championships, took 5th place with 431.40 points and went up to the semi-finals lightly.




U Haram, who is aiming for the first medal in Korean diving history at the Tokyo Olympics, has improved his sense of practice as he adjusts to the Olympic Stadium.



In Korea, among the eight diving events of the Tokyo Olympics, the men's 3m springboard (Harram Woo, Youngnam Kim), the men's 10m platform (Harram Woo, Youngtaek Kim), the 3m springboard (Kim Sooji), the women's 10m platform (Harim Kwon), and Five athletes from five sports, including the men's 10m synchro (Kim Youngnam-U Haram Group), a two-member event, won a total of 7 Olympic Games.



This is the highest all-time in both the competition and the number of athletes.



Previously, at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, two men and women athletes each, a total of four athletes, was the largest in three sports.



In particular, U Haram has added a 10m synchro with a 3m spring board and a 10m platform to compete in three events.
