Riyad Mahrez after City's qualification: I am proud to be an Algerian and an Arab

Algerian player Riyad Mahrez expressed his happiness for leading his team, Manchester City, to the final match of the European Football League for the first time in its history, after he scored two winning goals against Paris Saint-Germain today, Tuesday, in the semi-final second leg, to win the English team 2-0.

"We are happy with what we have achieved, it was a difficult match," Mahrez said in a press statement after the match. "I am proud to be Algerian and it is an honor for me to be an Arab player."

Mahrez became the first Arab player to score back and forth in the semi-finals of the European Champions.

Mahrez was the decisive factor in the first-leg win, too, after he scored the second winning goal from a fixed ball that broke through the wall of the Parisian team, becoming one of the most important factors of achievement for Manchester City.
