To tell the truth, we weren't too worried about him.

Two weeks after being fired from Tottenham, José Mourinho has found a job.

AS Roma announced on Tuesday that the 58-year-old Portuguese coach will sit on his bench next season.

He will replace his compatriot Paulo Fonseca, not renewed, while Roma occupy only seventh place in Serie A, and are almost eliminated from the Europa League even before their semi-final return, Thursday against Manchester United, after the beating received at Old Trafford (6-2).

Eleven years after leaving Inter Milan on an explosive treble (Champions League, Championship and Italian Cup), Mourinho will therefore find the Boot, after stints at Real Madrid and then in England (Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham) marked by a slow decline in its price.

The former “Special One” at the two C1s (the first with Porto in 2004) now hopes to find the mojo on the side of the Eternal City.
