His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, met at His Highness’s palace in Rumaila, the day before yesterday, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Head of the Department of Industry and Economy in Fujairah, Chairman of the Board of Directors, members and players of the first football team of Al-Orouba Club, on the occasion of the team's obtaining the First Division Championship and ascending to the Arab Gulf Professional Football League next season.
The meeting was also attended by Mohammed Saeed Al-Dhanhani, Director of the Amiri Diwan in the Government of Fujairah.
His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah congratulated the team for this remarkable achievement.
During the meeting, His Highness directed that the players of the Al-Orouba team and the technical and administrative staff be granted two million dirhams on the occasion of climbing into the professional league.
His Highness stressed the importance of completing excellence in the later stages, and His Highness called on players to show good morals and devote fair play in the spirit of one team, reflecting the aspirations of the Emirate of Fujairah to obtain advanced positions in various sports, and to achieve more successes at the local and Arab levels.
His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah ordered the development of all facilities of the Al-Orouba Club, and the equipping of the club's stadium to receive various sports championships.
