Carvajal has suffered a real nightmare with injuries this season.

In January, after having taken over the title, another muscular unforeseen arrived and, to top it off, after a short-lived 25-minute return in February against Valencia, another in the thigh that did not allow him to return to the Champions League until last Tuesday, versus Chelsea.
He was injured again.
In total, five injuries that have only allowed him 15 games and 1,119 minutes all season.
Carvajal received a strong blow against
Chelsea
and tried to hold out until the end.
However, he had to be replaced by Odriozola, a quarter of an hour to go.

31 matches of 38 on 19-20, 24 on 18-19, 25 on 17-18, 23 on 16-17, 22 on 15-16 and 30 on 14-15.
Without him or
Lucas Vázquez
, also out due to injury (he was injured against Barcelona), Zidane will have to rebuild his defense again.
The most natural solution, as it happened against Chelsea, is for
Odriozola
to take over the right-hand flank.
