First Björklöven and then Timrå.

The teams in the hockey Allsvenskan final both suffered corona outbreaks in their teams and the match series where an SHL place is at stake this autumn was paused.

Björklöven got the infection first and announced that 20 of 28 players were infected.

Timrå came out shortly afterwards and said that they also had positive tests from players or leaders around their first team.

13 infected

Timrå now reports on its website that 13 players and leaders have submitted positive tests.

"After we have now received answers to all PCR tests, it is clear that 13 players and leaders have been affected by Covid-19.

We are planning for a new test round and the activities for the A-team will therefore remain closed until further notice ", the club writes on its website.

Scheduled to resume May 6

The Hockeyallsvenskan came out the other day and announced that the plan is that the match series between Björklöven and Timrå - which is 1-1 in matches in the best of seven - would resume on 6 May.

It remains to be seen if you will now be forced to postpone the match series further.
