China News Service Client, April 29. On the evening of the 29th, a number of media disclosed that the former international player Zhang Enhua had passed away at the age of 48. A reporter from China News Service subsequently asked the Chinese Football Association and confirmed the matter.
Zhang Enhua played for the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup and the 1997 Top Ten Tournament. During most of his career, he played for the Dalian Wanda team and won 7 top Chinese football league titles with the team.
In 2001, Zhang Enhua also briefly stayed abroad for the Greensby team in England's second tier league.
