Pitcher Hyun-jong Yang finally made his debut in the big league stage and showed an impressive pitching against the Los Angeles Angels Kang Ta-sun.

Yang Hyun-jong was put into the LA Angels game immediately after receiving a big league call.

In the 3rd two-out 2-3 base crisis, he had to climb the mound and make the first batter, the 4th batter, Rendon, to induce a floating ball to turn off the fire.

Afterwards, he showed off his sensational defense skills and threw 7 hitters in a row.

However, after allowing Japanese star Otani to hit a surprise bunt in the 6th inning, he shook slightly and allowed consecutive hits to score the first concession in the big leagues.

In the 7th inning, he hit his first home run by lead batter Iglesias, but made his debut with two runs in 4.1 innings without any additional runs.

[Yang Hyeon-jong/Texas: I think he threw it down very well for his first start.]

Hyeon-jong Yang, who became the 24th Korean major leaguer in history, is expected to take on the role of a relief pitcher playing long innings for the time being.
