China News Service, April 28. The International Boxing Association announced a few days ago that the Jordanian boxer Rasheed Al Swasat, who was injured in the World Youth Boxing Championships on April 16, local time, passed away a few days after being admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Foreign media reported that the fighter was only 18 years old. He collapsed in the third round of the match and was sent to the hospital for emergency brain surgery, but he unfortunately passed away a few days after treatment.
It is unclear whether the injury was caused by the match or if it was already there.
