Saint Germain coach: Great Manchester City, led by the best coach in the world

Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino, the French coach of Paris Saint-Germain, believes that Manchester City is one of the best clubs in the world and is led by the best coach in the world, hours before the two teams meet tomorrow in the first leg of the Champions League golden square.

Neither team has won the Champions League before, although St. Germain reached the final match of the tournament last year, but lost at the hands of Bayern Munich.

Saint-Germain did not achieve victory during the previous three matches in Manchester City, who is participating in the Champions League semi-finals for the fourth time in its history.

When asked whether the challenges of facing Guardiola's Manchester City, the challenges of revenge against Bayern in the quarter-finals of the current version, Pochettino, the former coach of Tottenham Hotspur, replied, "I think Manchester City is one of the greatest teams in the world, and in my view he has the best coach."

He continued, "Will it be more difficult than facing Bayern? We do not know, there are always a lot of assumptions, but the most important thing is the 180 minutes."

"We are calm and realize that we need a lot of fighting to win a really great team like Manchester City," he noted.

"It will be a difficult confrontation, but it is not important to go into the first confrontation at home or outside it, but we should provide the best possible performance. From my experience in the Champions League, the matter is not much different," he stressed.

"It is not a personal battle, but a confrontation between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City. Pep is one of the best coaches, if not the best coach in the world. I admire not only his titles, but the legacy that he establishes in football," he concluded.
