It was in mid-January that Nichlas Rahm was fired from his assignments in HV71 after some really heavy initial months of seasons.

In came Stephan Lundh who had been in the club before and now he would save the club still in the SHL.

But the lift never came, HV71 ended up in a negative qualifier against Brynäs where it ended with the Jönköping team falling out of the SHL and the failure was a heavy fact.

"Thank you for their efforts"

Now the club announces that there will be no continuation for Lundh in HV71.

Nor for the assistant coaches in Jonas Holmström and Stefan Nyman.

- After talks with Stephan, Jonas and Stefan, we have agreed that there will be no continuation for them in HV71.

I want to thank everyone for their efforts in HV71 and wish them luck in the future, says Johan Hult to the club's website.

The club also announces that it is in dialogue with goalkeeping coach William Rahm about a continuation.
