The second day of the torch relay in Miyazaki Prefecture is scheduled to depart Miyazaki City at 9:15 am, and runners will connect seven cities and towns, including Nichinan City, where Obi Castle, also known as "Little Kyoto in Kyushu," is located.

Of these, Hiromi Taniguchi, who participated in the men's marathon at the Barcelona Olympics, will be the runner in Nichinan City.

And in Ebino City, which is located in the western part of the prefecture and is in contact with Kumamoto and Kagoshima, the Sydney Olympic Judo Men's Gold Medalist and Japan National Team coach Kosei Inoue will run.

On the 26th, some local governments will reduce the ceremony in response to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, and will take measures such as igniting ceremony and taking a commemorative photo only by the people concerned.
