The 22-year-old drove up from seventh starting box to third place in today's final race.
"It almost feels like a victory to get a podium from here," says Linus in a press release.
Lundqvist, who finished ninth in the first heat, lost the championship lead to teammate David Malukas, USA, who won today's race ahead of compatriot Kyle Kirkwood.
The next race in the championship will be run at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in three weeks.
