The match started evenly and the score after the first period was 16-14 to the home team Luleå.

The first half of the second period was characterized by sloppy attacking play and missed shots.

The first point of the period came only after four and a half minutes into the period.

But after that, Luleå gained momentum.

The home team got the shooting in order towards the end of the period, mainly through Josefin Vesterberg who put two straight three-pointers and Luleå went up in a 14-point lead to 35-21.

Luleå's American star Maggie Lucas was the best scorer after the first half with his twelve points, a half where Alvik missed all his 13 three-point attempts.

The score was 39-23 to Luleå after the first half.

- We were careless in attacks and drop balls.

We need to be more aggressive, said Alvik's Klara Lundquist at half time to SVT Sport.

Alvik hunted

In the third period, it was Alvik who chased to reduce the gap of 16 points.

The away team improved their shooting and they got closer and closer.

With ten seconds left of the period, they had picked up twelve points and the score was then only 53-49 to Luleå.

Then Luleå ended the period with an incredible three-pointer by Maggie Lucas to the position 56-49.

At the end of the match, it was a desperate Alvik who chased a way back in the match but Luleå was chilly and kept away.

The final numbers were eventually 76-66 and Luleå equalized the match series to 2-2.

- Luleå controlled the match and we are not satisfied with how we played individually or as a team, says Alvik's Janel McCarville to SVT Sport.

Thus, everything will be decided in the fifth and final match.
