It was Team Thoren who took the lead when Sofia Joelsson found the hill Cornelia Fjellstedt after just under ten minutes, but before the period was over, Pixbo had equalized through the Czech Denisa Ratajova.

Team Thoren had many chances in the second period, but it was Pixbo who scored the goals.

First find Amanda Berggren Emma Stenberg who made it 2-1 and then Berggren himself made it 3-1.

That position seemed to stand until the break, but with three seconds left of the period, Ellinor Berling put the reduction to 3-2.

"Some sick rescues"

Pixbo's Swiss star goalkeeper excelled in the second period and she was the one who made sure that the team was in the lead.

- She makes some really sick saves and is very important for her Pixbo, says SVT Sports' guest expert Anna Wijk.

Finnish sisters behind the turnaround

At the beginning of the third period, however, the receipt came.

Oona Kauppi, one of Team Thoren's Finnish super sisters, was the one who found the target.

Team Thor continued to press and in the end it was the other sister, Veera Kauppi, who completed Team Thor's turnaround.

Veera Kauppi, who is often mentioned as the world's best floorball player, also scored the next goal when she shot nicely to 5-3.

Pixbo still managed to create drama in the final when they reduced to 5-4 with 43 seconds left of the match.

It was the 21-year-old Norwegian Rikke Ingebrigtsli Hansen who scored the last goal of the match.

It was the final result and thus Team Thoren secured a first historic Swedish Championship gold.

The first in the club's history, but even though they were newcomers, the gold was not unexpected.

Many of Iksu's national team players transferred to the team before the season and they also won the basic series before Pixbo.
