Russian athletes recorded two gold medals and two bronzes in Greco-Roman wrestling competitions.

Emin Sefershaev won in the weight category up to 55 kg, defeating the Turk Ekrem Ozturk.

Zhambolat Lokyaev became the European champion in the weight category up to 63 kg, defeating the Azerbaijani Taleh Mammadov.

Bronze awards were won by Milad Alirzaev (up to 87 kg) and Zurab Gedekhauri (up to 130 kg).

Thus, the Russian national team won ten gold, five silver and four bronze medals of the continental championship.

The European Championship will run until April 25.

Earlier it was reported that the Russians won two medals in freestyle wrestling on the fifth day of the European Championship.
