Sc Heerenveen has to do without top scorer Henk Veerman and Joey Veerman on Saturday in the home game against PEC Zwolle.

The striker and the midfielder have tested positive for the corona virus.

It is not known when Veerman and Veerman tested positive.

Due to the absence of the duo, there are basic places for the Swede Benjamin Nygren and Rodney Kongolo.

Left back Lucas Woudenberg is also kicking off.

The lack of Veerman and Veerman is a major downer for Heerenveen.

Henk Veerman is the top scorer at the Frisians with fourteen league hits, while Joey Veerman is also of great value this season with seven goals and nine assists.

The match between number ten Heerenveen and number thirteen PEC starts on Saturday at 4.30 pm and is led by referee Rob Dieperink.

2,000 spectators are welcome at the match in the Abe Lenstra Stadium.

Before the game, a minute of silence will be held in memory of PSV icon Willy van der Kuijlen.

The all-time top scorer in the Eredivisie died on Monday at the age of 74.
