The playoff tournament of the Rugby Top League will be held at the Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka on May 15th and 16th, and the final will be held at the Chichibumiya Rugby Stadium in Minato-ku, Tokyo on the 23rd. This game is also the Japan Championship.



However, due to the influence of the new coronavirus, the Japan Rugby Association is expected to declare a state of emergency in the four prefectures of Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto, and the Japan Rugby Association has issued tickets for the three games of the semifinals and finals. It was announced on the 23rd that sales will be suspended.



Tickets were supposed to start pre-sale of some seats in the semi-finals from the 24th.



Both games were scheduled to be held with a maximum of 10,000 spectators, but if an emergency is declared in the future, the Japan Rugby Union will follow the intentions of the government and local governments regarding the spectators.
