Hiroya Miyagi, a 19-year-old pitcher who has won two starts in professional baseball Orix as one of the starting rotations, was canceled on the 23rd due to acute gastroenteritis.

Pitcher Miyagi has been in the starting rotation since the start of this season, his second year as a professional pitcher, and has pitched in four games so far without losing two games, with an earned run average of 1.26.

According to the team, pitcher Miyagi complained of poor physical condition after participating in the practice at Kyocera Dome Osaka on the 22nd, and was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis at a hospital in Osaka city.

Pitcher Miyagi was expected to pitch for the Nippon-Ham Fighter at Sapporo Dome on the 25th, but he will not accompany the team on the expedition and will remain in the local area for treatment.

The team wants to return early as soon as their physical condition recovers.
