The Professional League is organizing the April 24th and 25th Esports Championship Finals

The UAE Professional League will host, on the 24th and 25th of this month, the electronic tournament finals, which are the first official qualifiers of its kind, organized by the EA SPORTSTM FIFA 21 Global Series “Road to the FIFAe World Cup”, where the winner qualifies for representation in the West Asia Qualifiers for the EA Championship. 16 players will participate in the finals of the tournament, which will be played on PlayStation®4 platforms, and the rules of the tournament stipulate that the participants must not be less than 16 years old, and that they must be citizens or residents of the UAE. The 14 professional clubs chose the players to represent them in the finals, while two players qualified as representatives of the UAE Professional League, after they reached the final of the electronic qualifiers that concluded on April 21, where Khaled Al Yafei won the qualifiers and, accompanied by Ibrahim Al Awadi, second-place holder, qualified for the electronic tournament of the UAE Professional League.


The tournament finals will be held with the participation of 16 players, in a home and away system, and the top four will qualify for the semi-finals, which is held in the group stage system, and two players will qualify for the championship title in a series of three matches.

The tournament will be broadcasted on the official channel of the UAE Professional League on the Twitch platform, the official channel on YouTube and TikTok, as well as the Abu Dhabi Games and Electronic Sports platform, and the competitions will also be broadcast on the official tournament website www.euaepl.com, with the allocation of the first half hour of each A role to discuss tournament news and players' performance.

The first day witnesses the competitions of the 16th and the quarter-finals, which are held on a back-and-forth system, so the 16-round competitions begin on Saturday, April 24, at 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., followed by the quarter-finals matches, which start at 9:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. 11 pm.

The next day, April 25, the semi-finals will be held in the group system;

From two thirty in the afternoon until six in the evening, and the tournament competitions are concluded with the final, which takes place in a series of three matches, from nine thirty in the evening until twelve in the morning, to determine the identity of the champion.

The winner qualifies for the West Asia Qualifiers for the EA SPORTS ™ FIFA 21 Global Series World Cup qualifying tournament, and wins a cash prize of 15,000 dirhams, the second-place winner receives 7,000 dirhams, and the third-place winner wins 5,000 dirhams.
