PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi takes the place of Andrea Agnelli at the head of the European Association of Clubs (ECA), we learned on Wednesday evening.

The Italian had resigned when launching the "Super League" project, killed in the bud. 

Paris president SG Nasser Al-Khelaïfi was named president of the European Association of Clubs (ECA) on Wednesday, taking the place left vacant by Andrea Agnelli (Juventus Turin), one of the strongmen of the aborted Super League project .

A resignation after the Super League project 

The Italian had resigned from his post at the ECA when launching, against all expectations, his private competition project supposed to compete with the UEFA Champions League, nipped in the bud 48 hours after its launch in the face of withdrawals from most of the founding clubs.
