The association Hylte / Halmstad has had hard-to-surpass days with double Swedish Championship gold, but best of all they have probably been for 33-year-old Pedro Mendes.
Yesterday he took the Swedish Championship gold after his first season as coach for Hylte / Halmstad's ladies and today he gets to celebrate when he as a player took gold with the men.
As if that was not enough, Mendes also had to decide tonight's final.
In the third set, the home team stood for a turnaround and in the end they had to celebrate when Mendes made it 25-22.
