Didier Deschamps, coach of the French football team, will announce on May 18, 2021 his list of players who will participate in the Euro this year.

The announcement will be made on both TF1 and M6.

The list should have a minimum of 23 players.

The coach of the French football team Didier Deschamps will announce on May 18 his list of players selected to play the Euro which will take place from June 11 to July 11, on TF1 and M6, we learned from sources close to the case, confirming information from the daily L'Equipe.

A list of more than 23 players?

As usual, it is on a television channel that Deschamps will list the names of the players who will make up its squad during the next major international competition.

But after having done it for years on the set of TF1, Deschamps will appear this time also on M6, which broadcasts the matches of the Blues alongside the historic partner TF1, according to these same sources, confirming information from L'Equipe.

The sports daily suggests that the list of French world champions will be unveiled around 8:20 p.m., probably from the headquarters of the French Football Federation (FFF). The list for the Euro should theoretically have 23 players, but several European coaches have pleaded for UEFA, organizer of the Euro, to expand the workforce, to mitigate any health risks such as positive tests for Covid-19.
