Things are starting to get very complicated for the Top 14. The meetings between Brive in La Rochelle and Bayonne in Castres, scheduled for this Saturday on the occasion of the 22nd day, are postponed to a later date after cases of Covid-19 in Brive and Castres.
The opening match of this day between the Union Bordeaux-Bègles and Montpellier, initially scheduled for Friday, is meanwhile postponed to Sunday due to new contaminations in the Girondin workforce, but without a specific schedule for the moment.
"An update will be made on Thursday at the end of the day following new control tests within the UBB workforce," said the National Rugby League (LNR).
Upcoming weekday matches
The delay continues to grow for the French championship after already four postponements last week before the 21st day for reasons still related to the coronavirus.
With two games now postponed, Brive is the club with the most delay to catch up.
His duel against Clermont, scheduled for last week, had already been postponed due to six contaminations in its workforce.
The CAB reported eight new infections on Tuesday.

The Bordeaux-Bègles Union and Montpellier, being engaged in the semi-finals of the European Cups during this same weekend, will in principle have to play their game late in the 21st day, respectively against Agen and Toulon, on Tuesday 11 may.
But the date is subject to change depending on their result on the continental scene and whether or not their confrontation postponed to Sunday.
Another late match, Brive - La Rochelle (22nd day), is also set for May 11, according to details from the NRL.
