There was a real break after the acute injury in Miami.

- I have rested for more than two weeks and received some treatment of the shoulder.

I feel much better, the former world setter told Reuters ahead of the WTA tournament in Stuttgart.

The pain in her shoulder has stopped and she has been able to train well since she had to leave the walkover in her second match in Miami.

"Different to play match"

- Hope it can feel as good in a match as in training because it is different to play a match, says Halep who got a bye in his first match and enters the tournament's round of 16.

World setter Ash Barty is first seeded in the tournament.

The former French Open champion has won all gravel tournaments except the one in Stuttgart.

- I really want to win this tournament.

That's one of my goals.

I want to win all the gravel tournaments if possible, says Halep, who has been a turn in Romania and trained for the European gravel season.
