The competitions for the eighth edition of the "Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament", which is held annually in the blessed month of Ramadan at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, will begin tomorrow, and its activities will continue until April 29, according to the precautionary measures and approved protocols for all competitions.

The organizing committee has completed all the arrangements for organizing, as the activities begin with the Baddel Tennis Championship competitions that are held according to the regulations in force in the game association according to the new classification for local tournaments, which was recently approved by the federation, and it includes four categories, namely the gold category for men, and two bronze classes for men and women, and the category The championship will be held at Al-Badel Tennis Hall in Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.

A statement issued by the organizing committee said that the local categories' competitions will be held during the period from April 14 to 25, with the final round to be held on April 26, while the international category competitions will be held from April 21 to April 24, and all safety measures will be applied to the participants, the organizing committee and the media. , As everyone must perform a corona examination (PCR), and provide proof of a negative result in order to be able to enter the competition hall before each match, and this result is valid for 48 hours from the date of its announcement.

The 75-kilometer cycling race is held over a period of three days, namely April 22, 23 and 24, and the cycling championship includes five classes in which all amateurs and professionals, citizens and residents of 18 years of age and over, are allowed to participate, and the categories are: the open class for men, and the open class for women. In them, the participation of the male and female players of clubs and national teams who participate in official races inside and outside the country of citizens and residents, and the category of amateur citizens only, and the category of amateurs for female citizens only, and it is not allowed for the participation of any player who belongs to a club or has an official cycling card issued by the Emirates Cycling Federation.
