It swings fast in hockey.

The old saying was proved once again on Sunday afternoon.

Swing started the turn

When half of the match between Växjö and Färjestad was played, the guests from Karlstad led 3-0, and seemed to have a pretty good view of the events.

But 10.23 into the second period, Robert Rosén hit a pass to Richard Gynge at the offensive blue line.

It basically released Gynge advanced and finished distinctly for 1-3.

"Gets energy"

Three minutes and 20 seconds later it was suddenly 3-3, and Färjestad seemed to be really rocking.

- They get good "momentum" when they score their goals, they get energy from it and play well while we go down.

It is not okay to lose a 3-0 lead to 3-3 on a "perre".

But it's just up on the horse again, said Färjestad's Olle Lycksell to C More after the second period.

Hard shot by the Westin

And so it became.

Färjestad played up, and did fair 4-3 12.05 into the third period.

Michael Lindqvist won the puck behind goal, and hit a pass diagonally inwards back to the right technical circle, where Jens Westin loaded the big cannon and shot a rock hard shot that went past the chanceless goalkeeper Henrik Haukeland.

But it was not over there.

With just over three and a half minutes left to play, Robert Rosén put 4-4 in power play, and just half a minute later Pontus Holmberg put 5-4 after a quick turnaround, where Holmberg finished in an almost open goal after a nice pass right over the zone by Fredrik Karlström.

"Damn heavy"

Thus, Växjö now leads the quarter-final series with 2-0.

- Damn heavy.

We sit in the driver's seat in the last period, and they still find a way to win, and we lose, says Färjestad's team captain Victor Ejdstell with a sigh to C More.
