Late on Friday night, team Niklas Edin played their last regular season match in the curling WC in Calgary.

As expected, the Swedes were superior and controlled the match against Japan right from the start.

After three rounds, the Swedes led 5-1 and when team Edin was in a 7-2 lead after round six, Japan chose to thank for themselves.

Sweden now has eleven wins in 13 matches.

Already after the victory against Canada earlier this week, Sweden was ready for the playoffs, which begin during the night towards Sunday.

Which Sweden will face in the semifinals will be decided on Saturday.
