Alvik got a tough start to the match and was down 13-7 after four and a half minutes.

Much thanks to Högsbo's Kourtni Perry, who got off to a good start in his shooting.

But the home team managed to pick up and leave.

In the second period, Alvik's star Klara Lundquist woke up.

She found the surfaces and the teammates with good movement and a nice passing game.

Lundquist was particularly sharp from the penalty throw line, where she sat four of four throws.

In the playoffs, Lundquist had only missed one penalty throw.

Alvik led at half time with 42-30.

- We have the match where we want it.

We have decided that there will be no match of this, said Alvik's Elin Ljunggren in SVT's broadcast at half time.

Continued to impress

In the third period, Alvik pulled away after scoring three three-pointers in a short time.

And it was just the shooting that was the big difference in the match.

Alvik, for example, shot 44 percent from three, while Högsbo was just over half, 28 percent.

In the last period, Högsbo did everything to come back and it was exciting.

The away team stood for a powerful pick-up and with 27 seconds left, the score was only 78-76 to Alvik.

In the closing seconds, Alvik put a penalty throw to 79-76.

In the last attack of the match, Högsbo had to put a third but it was only a two-pointer.

The match ended 79-78 to Alvik, who are thus ready for the Swedish Championship final.

- It's so nice to be in the final.

I can not really think clearly right now, just think that we are in the final, says Alviks Ellen Åström in SVT's broadcast.
