"After unsuccessful matches, sometimes it came to fights"

- You seem to be a very level-headed person.

Can you remember your most daring act?

- Indeed, it is very difficult for me to unbalance.

But, like any normal person and a football player, I am also not without drawbacks, therefore, actions with a minus sign took place on the field.

Two come to mind.

This is about the red cards that I received while performing overseas.

The first was shown to me by Pierluigi Collina, when I played for the Italian Roma, for grappling with an opponent.

Then, I confess, it was very embarrassing.

I got the second at Porto.

I disagreed with the judge's decision, and he removed me.

In both matches, there were no defeats, otherwise there would have been a large monetary fine.

- As a coach, have you ever fought so that boots flew in the locker room?

- It happened, of course.

Especially after bad matches.

Somewhere I myself was wrong, somewhere - partners.

This is in the order of things in football.

Everyone could make claims to each other and talk in a raised voice.

Sometimes it came to small fights.

Not only boots flew, but also clothes, water bottles.

Once, when I was already working as a head coach at Yenisei, I got angry too.

After the first half, my team was losing with a score of 0: 3, I was extremely angry.

Throwing balls all over the locker room.

The guys, knowing my character, were surprised, because outwardly I am always calm.

Unfortunately, that act of mine did not affect the course of the match in any way - in the second half we conceded two more (goals. -

RT

).

- Were there matches when you were shaken before entering the field?

- There were several of them.

Just the Champions League final with Monaco in 2004.

The decisive meeting of the UEFA Cup with Celtic a year earlier.

And before the final matches of the Russian Cup, there was excitement, jitters.

Fortunately, I have always coped with him, so I was lucky to win quite serious trophies with my partners.

- What goal do you watch most often?

- It sounds immodest, but these are two goals that I was lucky enough to score in the European Cup finals: Celtic in the UEFA Cup and Monaco in the Champions League.

I can't say that I often review them.

This happens very rarely - maybe once every six months or when someone sends a video.

This is the past, and you need to live in the present and the future.

- Who of all your teammates ate the most?

- Brazilian footballers at Porto.

They loved to eat, especially raw meat.

Deco and Derlei ate a lot.

Jose Mourinho was not forbidden - all professionals.

The main thing is that there is no excess weight.

- You are probably the most successful Russian footballer.

Do you regret anything?

- I never regret anything in my life.

It is not right.

Perhaps, if I had regretted, I would not have reached such heights.

Of course, there were mistakes that could have been avoided, but they probably only helped me eventually become a good footballer.

- What place would you give yourself in the list of the 100 best Russian footballers in history?

- The last one, because I had great partners in both Lokomotiv and Spartak.

Plus, there were a lot of strong players in Russia, against whom I had a chance to play.

So I will send myself to the last ten of this hundred.

- The three best RPL footballers right now?

- Nikola Vlasic is in first place, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is in second, and Mario Fernandez is in third.

The naturalized Brazilian has been playing at a consistently high level for nine years.

Quincy Promes, if he continues to act as in the last matches, will also fall into this three.

The best goalkeeper?

Of course, Igor Akinfeev.

- Can Sergey Pinyaev and Arsen Zakharyan become the new Alenichevs?

- They have everything for this.

I would also name Kvaratskhelia.

He plays very well at Rubin.

Konstantin Tyukavin is not bad at Dynamo.

These four are now considered the most promising in Russia.

I wish them to reach their maximum here, and then follow in my footsteps and leave for stronger championships: Italy, Spain, England.

- Is there a football player in the world who reminds you of yourself?

- In texture, probably, Andreas Iniesta and Xavi.

They are about the same height as me and have similar technique and game thinking.

But by football standards, both, of course, are more skilled.

I also always liked Zinedine Zidane, but he is still quite large.

"Mom and Dad couldn't take me home even for dinner."

How much weight have you gained since you retired?

- Two kilograms.

I graduated in 2006, and two years later I played a farewell match at the Lokomotiv stadium.

The veterans of Real Madrid have arrived.

I gathered my guys from Spartak, and we played with them - 4: 4.

At that time, I weighed 70 kg, and now - 72. Although some of my partners have added both 10 kg and 15. Others, for example, Valera Karpin or Lyosha Smertin, on the contrary, lost weight.

You look at the same Karpin on TV - and it seems that he has thrown off, keeps himself well in good shape.

- What is the main charm of life after the end of your career?

- There is a lot of free time.

When I played football, I didn't even have a chance to take a break.

Constant moving, daily training, hotels.

Therefore, after the end of his career, he felt unusual.

I got into my head thoughts about what I should do, in what area to look for myself.

It was a difficult period, but then I got used to it and began to enjoy life.

I set myself the task of becoming a head coach and went to work in Tula.

- Why were your children born during the European Championships?

- Wow ... I didn't even think about that.

It just happened with my wife.

I'll take a note.

Moreover, our wedding took place on February 29th.

We have to celebrate the anniversary every four years.

- Are you a kind dad or strict?

- The kindest.

Sometimes I suffer from this, because the little ones immediately sit on Dad's neck.

And if dad was a little more serious, there would be no such sloppiness that is present in my children.

Son Daniel loved the Lego constructor so much that he had to buy half of the store.

But it is better than computers and smartphones.

Everyone is sitting, they spoil their eyesight ... When I was little, I didn't have a phone, I went into the yard, where I played football from morning till night.

Mom and Dad could not drag home even for dinner.

They shouted out the window, but I didn't go into any: football, football, football.

- What are you most proud of in life (not necessarily in football)?

- By their children.

I am very glad that I have three of them: one daughter and two sons.

This is happiness for every father.

- Fans lovingly call you Alen.

What animal would you compare yourself to?

- It is clear why they called me that, since the surname is Alenichev.

The deer is fast, but now my speed is not the same as when I was 20.

Take a videotape and take a look.

Then I ran about as fast as the deer.

- Which love is stronger - for a person or for football?

- Of course, to the person.

Today there is football, but tomorrow it may not be, although I also love it very much.

But, perhaps, the moment will come when I will say to myself: “That's it, I'm tired of this football in my entire life.”

And love for your family will never disappear, and this is the most important thing.

- Where would you like to meet old age?

- In Russia, at home.

More precisely, in the suburbs, where I now live.

And I was born in the small town of Velikiye Luki and came to Moscow to play football.

- What was the last book you read?

- I studied Italian at Roma, but when I finished my career, I started to forget it.

Honestly, the last book was just in Italian, in order to remember it a little.

- Who do you think is the best friend in the world of football?

- At the moment I have close relations with Yegor Titov, Andrey Tikhonov, Dmitry Parfyonov.

With Jose Mourinho, we are now colleagues.

I bow to Oleg Romantsev and Georgy Yartsev, who trained me at Spartak.

I also note Fernando Santos, with whom I worked in Europe, and now he is the head of the Portuguese national team.

- Did you write anything to Mourinho after Tottenham's departure from the Europa League?

- We have a very good relationship with Jose, we are almost always in touch.

After the victories of his teams, I can write a message, or he will congratulate me on some holidays.

Can you call us friends?

Still, Mourinho is older.

Rather, good buddies.

He is a wonderful person and coach who gave me a lot and won a huge number of trophies.

Of course, after being defeated by Dynamo Zagreb, I decided not to bother him.

I think there will be a more pleasant occasion to remind of myself.

"I must say thank you to Carrera for this championship."

- What do you put in your suitcase when you go somewhere?

- If I go abroad, be sure to take a tennis racket.

I must say right away that on vacation I try to do without football.

I have enough of him in Moscow.

- And what is "Alenichev's luggage"?

- This is the suitcase in which the whole uniform was.

And I left it to Massimo Carrere.

Gathered there things, a racket.

- Is it sad that you did everything, but Carrera won?

- Not.

This means that it should have happened.

The most important thing is that Spartak won.

Yes, we prepared the team, but who worked before Massimo is a secondary issue.

Results are at the forefront of any sport, and Carrera must be thanked for this championship.

- Why does Alexander Mostovoy not like Domenico Tedesco?

- It is necessary to ask Sasha.

Considering his statements, Mostovoy does not like not only Tedesco.

He has some kind of jealousy for many coaches, and for football players too.

- Why CSKA Ivica Olic and why is he better than Sergei Ovchinnikov?

- I also find it difficult to say why the choice fell on the Croat.

On the one hand, he showed himself great at CSKA and was one of the best legionnaires in the team.

Therefore, to some extent, its appointment is natural and pleasant for the fans of the red and blue.

On the other hand, Ivica has never worked as a head coach.

But now it is difficult to judge, time must pass.

Perhaps, in the remaining rounds of the RPL, the army team will show such results that the club recognizes Olic's appointment as the correct move.

In the meantime, this is a mystery to everyone.

- When will CSKA run out of Viktor Onopko's "baggage"?

- I think in this case there was no "baggage".

“Alenichev's baggage” in “Spartak”, as the fans said, was probably present.

- To be the main one at Krasnodar or an assistant at Spartak?

- Chief in Krasnodar.

All teams go through hard times: Zenit, Spartak and CSKA.

I have always liked southerners.

They are a cute team with their own handwriting that showcases attacking football.

- In which RPL or FNL club would you find it most interesting to work?

- I would like to work with teams that set themselves serious tasks, if such proposals, of course, are received.

There are also such groups that are fighting for survival.

This is always a serious stress for the coach.

Now Rotor has changed the mentor.

Yuri Baturenko came, for whom it will be very difficult to keep the Volgograd residents in the RPL.

This is not for me.

- Under what condition would you agree to become the coach of Zenit?

- I will definitely never work at Zenit.

I won't go to CSKA either.

They have always been principal rivals.

Favorite club?

Of course, Spartak.

I played there.

I trained the Red and White, but maybe I will lead them again.

And maybe the Russian national team.

Now Stanislav Cherchesov works in it, but he will not work there all his life.

It is possible that I will prove myself well in some club - and they will say to me: "Dmitry Anatolyevich, we invite you to the national team."

- What would you do if you had to stay out of football for five years?

- I can't imagine myself without football.

I cannot imagine that I will not coach anyone for five years.

I would just work with children, which I am doing now.

I like it.

I have my own academy, where children from five to 14 years old study.

Of course, I do not train them every day, there is a special headquarters for this, but, as the president of the academy, I devote a lot of time to it.

- Why don't you come to television and act as an expert, like Andrei Arshavin?

- Honestly, many invite, but I don't like publicity.

Even when I was a football player, I always said that it is better to show yourself on the football field than on television.

But there is a group of people who do the opposite: they play badly, but they want to shine in public.

- Are you eager to get back to coaching?

- Highly.

After all, I have been resting for two years now.

This is a long enough period.

There is a desire to return.

I hope everything will work out in the summer.
