Emma Ribom, Ebba Andersson and Jonna Sundling went before Charlotte Kalla when Piteå Elit would take their teams to the Swedish Championship relay over 3x5 kilometers.

The first team held on to the favorite pressure and won, but Kalla impressed on his second stretch in the second team.

She took over from Lisa Vinsa as fourth, but with 37 seconds up to medal place.

When the distance was over she was third, with a good margin down to four and only three seconds up to Falun-Borlänge's Maja Dahlqvist.

Kalla then handed over to Sofia Henriksson who retained third place after losing the sprint battle for the silver against Falun-Borlänge's Louise Lindström.

- It was fun to go out and try to create a good starting position for Sofia.

It was a bit of a no man's land for a while, but then I got the chance to get into the ride.

It was fun to compete in a sunny Kalix, says Kalla who feels in great shape after a heavy season.

- I am driven by the joy of competition and the desire to compete.

I started the season very late so I wished there were more weeks of competitions.
