Liverpool threatens to prosecute those who insult Mane and Keita

The English club Liverpool condemned the racist insults suffered by the two stars of the team, Senegalese Sadio Mane and Guinean Naby Keita, after losing to Real Madrid 1-3, Tuesday, in the Champions League.

Liverpool said in a statement on its official account on "Twitter": "Liverpool condemns all forms of distinction, and we will provide all support to our players ... We will work with the relevant authorities to determine the cause of this incident and prosecute them if possible."

The statement added, "The current situation cannot continue, and we must all make sure that it does not continue."

A number of Liverpool and Real Madrid fans attacked Keita and Mane, along with right-back Alexander Arnold, on social media platforms, with insulting words.
