Atletico Madrid reveals Suarez's injury
Spanish club Atletico Madrid announced in an official statement, today, Wednesday, that its Uruguayan star, Luis Suarez, was injured during the team's training.
The club said in an official statement: "Suarez (34 years) underwent medical examinations confirming that he had suffered a muscle injury at the level of the left thigh," without mentioning the period of his absence from the team.
Atletico Madrid tops the league table of the "La Liga" teams, with 66 points, one point ahead of runner-up Barcelona, and three points behind Real Madrid, who are third.
