It was at the end of March that German coach Heiko Vogels behaved unsportsmanlike towards a referee.

The punishment?

Train a women's or girls' team at six o'clock.

A punishment that was controversial to say the least and which was met with sharp criticism from, among others, the ladies in the Bundesliga.

Among these - Fridolina Rolfö.

In an open letter, the players protested against the German Football Association and demanded that the association take a stand.

And to share the letter, it was never something that Rolfö hesitated.

For her, it was a matter of course and something that is one hundred percent behind.

- It will be an incredible discrimination to women's football.

That's not okay, and that's something we need to act on.

We must put our foot down and show that it must not happen in today's society, she says to SVT Sport.
