The horizon clears up above Anthony Martial, injured during the victory of the Blues in Kazakhstan on March 28 (0-2).
The striker of the France and Manchester United team, hit in a knee, should be absent for four weeks and have a good chance of playing the Euro (June 11 - July 11).
Martial suffers "from a small lesion of the posterior crusaders, which does not require an operation," explains the player's entourage.
On Sunday, his coach at ManU, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, spoke of "several weeks", without further details, adding "fingers crossed" to "get him back before the end of the season".
Reassuring MRIs
An MRI passed Tuesday in Sarajevo, where the Blues beat Bosnia (1-0), "did not suggest anything serious", according to another source familiar with the matter.
But as a precaution Martial had not been aligned against Bosnia.
A new MRI taken in Manchester showed this small lesion.
"A month after the injury, he must be able to replay", slips a source.
Martial is injured in the home stretch of the season.
But the English championship ends on May 23, and the Europa League final is scheduled for May 26 in Gdansk (Poland).
ManU is in the quarterfinals of this competition, against the Spaniards of Granada.
