The Orange women travel to Spain without Lize Kop and Lynn Wilms on Monday for a training camp.

The keeper of Ajax and the defender of FC Twente were injured on Sunday in the final match for the Eredivisie Cup (3-2 win for Ajax).

FC Twente keeper Daphne van Domselaar is going to Spain as a replacement for Kop.

National coach Sarina Wiegman decided not to call up a replacement for Wilms.

As a result, the selection of Orange Women now consists of 23 players.

There is a chance that the 23-year-old Kop will join the selection later.

That depends on the recovery of the six-time international, who so far was in the base once with the Orange Women.

The reigning European champion awaits a match against Spain in Marbella on Friday (kick-off at 7 p.m.) and then returns home.

Four days after the meeting with Spain, the Netherlands will take on Australia in Nijmegen (kick-off 6.30 pm).

The exhibition games are for the Orange Women in preparation for the Olympic Games next summer in Tokyo.

Wiegman wanted to go to Spain to practice playing in the heat, but the temperature in Marbella does not seem to rise above 20 degrees this week.
