Hundreds of fans flocked to Lezama to bid farewell to Athletic, which will play the 2020 Copa del Rey final against Real Sociedad on Saturday (8:30 pm).
Bilbao fans ignored calls for civility and broke the rules of social distance by flocking to the facilities with t-shirts, scarves and replicas of the trophy.

hard until victory'), the fans cheered their footballers, who were arriving at Lezama in their private vehicles. One of the most acclaimed was

, decisive in the last final of the Super Cup, Ahtletic's first title this season.
The massive influx of fans provoked an immediate response from the club.
"Thank you for saying goodbye throughout the journey to Loiu. We know that it is complicated with these emotions but, please, respect all security measures," clarified the entity chaired by

through his Twitter account.
And, after leaving Lezama,

went to the airport escorted by dozens of motorists.
As soon as they land in Seville, the team will eat at their concentration hotel and at 7:00 p.m. they will exercise at the Ramón Cisneros Palacios Sports City in Seville.
On Friday, the Asturian coach will direct the last previous session at La Cartuja from 8:00 p.m., the scene of the decisive duel against Real.
